Project for Peace

  • There are spatial (distance) barriers and relationship (heart) barriers between the South and the North of the Korean Peninsula, and within South Korea.

​

  • For the past 10 years, GNPSP has conducted various cultural activities and research to break down the barriers between generations and regions within South Korea.

​

  • In addition, it is working to understand North Korea's culture and ensure sustainable communication.

​

  • Following the theory of strategic peace-building, it is practising a structure in which the government, private organisations, and citizens (grassroots) respect each other’s cultures, cooperate through research and consultation, and expand awareness of peace through various cultural activities.

​

  • South Korea presents itself as an advanced country, but its inner self is filled with conflict and wounds. GNPSP is actively participating in bringing South Korean society to peace.
